Indulge your love of Egyptian dance while immersing yourself in the culture, cuisine, and sunshine of Naxos, Greece on the pristine waters of the Aegean Sea. Stay in a family-owned hotel, just steps from the beach.

 

Study technique and choreography with master Egyptian dance instructors Faten and Wael Mansour, whose extensive expertise covers the spectrum of Egyptian dance, from its folkloric roots all the way to more modern interpretations. This 5-day, 6-night retreat offers you the unique opportunity to learn from these two renowned instructors in a small class setting. Dancers in all stages of their dance journey are welcome.

The week is structured to encompass 12 hours of dance instruction as well as plenty of free time to relax and explore Naxos. 

 

Each day begins with breakfast on the beach. Lunch will be on your own, allowing you to select from the many small area restaurants. We will regroup in the evening for dinner, except for two evenings when you can set your own schedule and have dinner and explore.   

 

During your free time, you can relax on the beach or visit the town of Chora with its many shops, restaurants and sites.

We have built into the schedule a boat trip around the beaches of Naxos. We have also arranged a private tour where we'll visit a ceramic workshop, an olive press, and the Demetra temple and have dinner in a village, so you can experience even more of the Island of Naxos.. 

 

​​One evening, we’re planning an informal dance party. We hope you will consider packing a costume and sharing your talent with the group.
